The HG Labs’ Story
HG Laboratories was founded with a simple mission: create cleaning products that are both highly effective and genuinely safer for people and the environment!
In 2009, founders Sharron and Jerry combined their unique professional backgrounds to bring that vision to life. Inspired by Sharron’s dedication to health and wellness and desire for a safer home for their family; her husband Jerry, an experienced engineer and chemist, began formulating truly non-toxic cleaning products for everyday use. During their collaborative development efforts, they discovered that many products marketed as “green” didn’t meet the safety standards they believed all consumers deserved. Shortly thereafter, they began developing their first line of truly green "Harmony" cleaners for consumers.
After rigorous third-party environmental testing and personally demonstrating product samples at numerous Whole Foods Markets, their Harmony products quickly earned placement amongst 26 Whole Foods Markets in the Kentucky region!
As market demand grew for safer products, so did the company. What began with six household cleaning products expanded into a growing portfolio of professional-grade solutions for homes and businesses. Listening closely to customer needs led to the development of concentrated formulas, commercial packaging, and bulk manufacturing options including 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums, and 275-gallon totes.
Over the years, HG Laboratories has evolved from a consumer brand into a trusted manufacturing partner. We specialize in private label and custom formulation services of both ready-to-use and concentrated formulas. We offer end-to-end solutions to help businesses launch and grow their own cleaning product brands with our in-house formulation, label design, and expert manufacturing capabilities.
